Video and signed test report delivered before you pay the 70% balance: recorded, timed, signed.
Do not buy a labeling machine from a brochure. Run your actual product and label stock first. Every serious buyer knows this; the industry’s dirty secret is how few manufacturers invite it. A datasheet can claim ±1mm; only a recorded run with your container shows whether the machine holds it at your speed, with your label material, through your operator’s shift length.
The gaps FAT exposes are predictable: brochure accuracy versus measured accuracy (temperature, label stiffness and container variance all move the number), and changeover claims versus changeover reality: “quick changeover” that takes 2 minutes on a demo bench can take 20 in your plant, and 20 minutes on a 5-SKU line is a part-time job nobody applied for. Both failures are invisible on paper and obvious on video.
That is why the FAT is not a courtesy at HiPaks. It is the shipping gate. The machine does not leave the factory until the checklist below passes on your product, and the footage is your evidence.
Ten steps, each with a pass criterion and a recorded form of evidence.
Full label roll fed through the complete web path (unwind, sensor, applicator, rewind if fitted) with no misfeeds, snags or tracking drift across the entire roll.
Machine run at its rated speed range with your containers: stability observed, not just attained; no stall, no sensor dropout at the top of the range.
Placement accuracy measured and recorded at multiple speeds using your bottle and label. The readings go in the report, not in adjectives.
Complete SKU changeover performed start-to-finish with the clock running, the number your production planner actually cares about.
Label sensor verified against your stock, including special SICK sensing for transparent labels where specified.
Emergency stop, grounding and control-voltage verification against the ordered configuration, including the 110V 60Hz export build where ordered [voltage version per order confirmation].
Extended endurance run available as an option: thermal drift, adhesive buildup and intermittent faults surface in hour six, not minute six [optional item, quoted per order].
Frame, covers, welding seams and paint inspected, then the export packing method verified. The machine arrives as it left the test bench.
Random spare parts kit checked against the order list and packed with the machine: not “usually included”, itemized.
Full FAT footage and the signed report are archived under your order file and delivered to you, the same file referenced in any future support call.
Every featured platform gets one complete changeover video: start to first good bottle, clock on screen.
Every FAT produces a signed report with a fixed skeleton, so you can compare machines and orders on the same fields:
The report travels with the standard delivery package: the machine (run in and adjusted before packing), the factory test-run video, the English operation manual and operation videos, the spare parts kit, and the lifetime technical support entry. One order, one archive. That is the point.

Model / serial → samples → speed vs rated → accuracy table → photos + video link → inspector signature.

We schedule the run around your working hours, stream the test live, and answer questions on the spot. You direct the camera if something interests you.

Can’t join live? The complete unedited run ships with the report, yours to pause, zoom and forward.

SGS, QIMA or your own inspector can attend the FAT in person. We hand them the same checklist and the same machine.
Yes. That is the standard sequence: 30% deposit starts the build, the FAT runs on your bottles, and you receive the video and report before the 70% balance is due. You can join live by video call or review the recording; the shipment releases after your FAT is on file. More buyers ask about this in our main FAQ.
The report records measured placement accuracy (±mm) at multiple speeds, including your target rate, using your bottle and label: numbers in a table, not adjectives. Rated specs are ±0.5mm benchtop (±0.2mm on T807) and ±1mm automatic; the FAT shows what they read in your working condition.
Yes, third-party inspectors are welcome at the factory, and they receive the same 10-point checklist and the same machine your order references. Coordinate the visit through the contact desk when the FAT date is set.
It does not ship. Failures are corrected in the factory and the affected steps are re-run and re-recorded until the checklist passes. The balance stays unpaid until you have passing evidence. Persistent failures beyond engineering resolution are grounds for cancellation remedies under the order terms. The checklist that governs this is above.
Yes, every machine ships with its test-run video and report, alongside the English manual, operation videos and the spare parts kit. The same archive backs your support calls for the life of the machine. See what each order includes in the test video library.
