Photos & Details

Look for three parts in the photos: the print engine module and its media path, the applicator presenting the freshly printed label, and the trigger sensor timing the sequence to product presence. Component logic and part names are in the parts diagram guide.

8 Features That Matter on the FT-600

  1. Print-then-apply in one motion. The label is printed the moment before application (date, lot, barcode or serialized data), eliminating the pre-printed label inventory that goes stale every formulation or batch change.
  2. Variable data, real time. Data changes per product or per shift: one machine covers every batch code without a label changeover, which is the entire economic argument for print & apply.
  3. Two configurations from one platform. Flat-surface application (tops of cartons and pouches) and side-of-line application (flanks passing the head); chosen at specification, changed at integration.
  4. “No jam, no re-print” timing discipline. Print-and-apply lives or dies on the timing between print completion and application; the FT-600’s print-to-apply sequence control is built to keep the line moving without misfires or double labels.
  5. Trigger integration. Product-present sensing with trigger sources including weigher or scanner signals [per project]; the machine follows your line’s data, not the other way round.
  6. Thermal print engine platform. Print engine brand and interface are matched to your data system at engineering evaluation [TBC; supported engine list to be confirmed]; media and ribbon requirements specified per project.
  7. Compliance-ready output. Machine-readable codes for traceability: the requirement set behind GS1 barcodes and regulated-industry date/lot marking.
  8. Factory-tested on your data and product. The FAT run uses your actual cartons or pouches and your real data stream, filmed before shipment; see the FAT & quality page.

What the FT-600 Labels Best

The FT-600 is built for lines where the marking changes too often to pre-print: e-commerce and 3PL parcels and cartons, food and cosmetic boxes needing per-batch dating, chemical containers with lot and barcode requirements. It complements the shipping-label applicators for carrier compliance in e-commerce & logistics, and sits in the wider print & apply class overview on the print & apply machine page.

Honest boundary: print & apply is a system purchase: print engine, media, data source and applicator must be specified together. That is why several FT-600 fields read “confirmed at engineering evaluation” rather than displaying guessed numbers: the datasheet does not publish them, and we will not invent them.

Options & Custom Tooling

FT-600 projects are quoted as systems: print engine selection and interface to your WMS/ERP or weigher/scanner data; media (label stock and ribbon) specification; flat vs side applicator configuration; conveyor mounting, height and angle; barcode-grade verification where compliance demands it. Unusual surfaces or custom presentation fixtures route through the custom labeling machine page; head-only integrations compare on the label applicator & heads page.

Tested With Your Product and Data Before Shipping

Print & apply is proven only end to end: your cartons or pouches, your label stock, your data stream, printed and applied at line speed and filmed; the acceptance record ships with the machine. The ten-point checklist is on the FAT & quality page.

Factory-Direct Price

From $6,000. Print & apply pricing is configuration-driven: the print engine spec, applicator form and data integration each move the number, which is why published P&A prices across the industry are rare and quotes are the norm. Bands and context in the price center; standard payment 30/70 T/T, import terms in the import playbook.

Common Questions About the FT-600

What data can the FT-600 print and apply?

Anything a thermal print engine outputs at the moment of application: date and time stamps, batch and lot codes, barcodes and variable serialized data. The data source is wired in at integration (product-present triggers as standard, with weigher or scanner sources per project), so the code on the label always matches the product under it.

Which print engine brands does it support?

[TBC; the supported engine list is confirmed at engineering evaluation.] Print engine brand and interface are matched to your data system during specification; declare your WMS/ERP and preferred engine at inquiry so the integration is quoted correctly the first time.

Flat or side application, which configuration do I need?

Flat application suits the top faces of cartons, cases and pouches; side application suits flanks presented to the head as products pass on the conveyor. Both are configurations of the same FT-600 platform; send a photo or video of your line and the application point, and we specify the form at quotation.

How much does the FT-600 cost?

From $6,000 (market reference, confirm before publish), with the print engine specification, applicator form and data integration driving the final figure. Send your product, media and data requirements for a firm system quote with the test video included.

What’s included in the delivery?

The FT-600 configured to the quoted specification, test-run with your product and data and filmed; the FAT video; English manual and operation videos; spare parts kit [TBC; enumerated list]; and lifetime technical support contacts. See the crate checklist on the FAT page.
