Inline Sleeve Applicator
Sleeve cutting and application for full-body and neck-only formats, feeding the shrink tunnel at line speed.
Sleeve, cut and shrink in one pass, conforming to any container geometry; specs and pricing on request.
A sleeve prints the entire container wall: graphics that wrap the whole geometry, not one panel. Brand real estate no adhesive label can match on the same bottle.
Sleeves shrink to conform: contoured bottles, embossing, handles, curves that defeat every label-and-jig approach. If it can be sleeved, it gets decorated.
The same sleeve doubles as a tamper-evident seal over cap and neck: decoration and security in one pass.
| Factor | Pressure-sensitive | Hot melt OPP | Shrink sleeve |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coverage | Panel(s) | Panel / partial wrap | Full-body 360° |
| Container conformity | Straight walls, jigs for odd shapes | Round band (φ40–80 on our rotary) | Any geometry: shrinks to fit |
| Tamper evidence | Add-on feature | Add-on feature | Native (cap & neck sleeve) |
| Relative material cost | Reference | Lowest per bottle at volume | Higher film cost, maximum decoration [TBC] |
| Best fit | Many SKUs, panel info | High-speed beverage | Contoured containers, premium decoration |

Steam tunnel for full-body conformity on complex geometry; electric infrared option for simpler profiles and steam-restricted sites.
The neck-and-cap sleeve is the most widely accepted tamper-evident format on consumer packaging: opening the product destroys the sleeve, and the evidence is unambiguous. For alcohol, the same sleeve can carry or integrate excise-stamp zones where the market requires them; for cannabis and nutraceutical products, state and provincial rules frequently demand exactly this seal-and-show construction.
Because the sleeve is printed, compliance text (warnings, lot fields, excise zones) is part of the artwork rather than a second label, and it conforms to closure geometry that defeats flat panels. Beverage and alcohol producers can see the adjacent machinery route on the beverage, wine & brewery page; industrial sealing duty overlaps with chemical & industrial.
Sleeve economics live in the film: PETG, OPS and PVC rolls each shrink differently and cost differently, and lay-flat width must match your container’s largest profile. Film roll specs, lay-flat size range and changeover times are being finalized with the factory [TBC]. The confirmed sheet will state supported lay-flat widths and the reel-change routine.
What we can commit to now: we test your containers with your sleeve film before any order: shrink conformity, seam position and tamper performance filmed on video, the same acceptance standard we apply to every machine.
Lay-flat widths, roll specs and changeover timing, publishing with the datasheet [TBC].
Sleeve clips coming: full-wrap runs shown as reference.
Your containers and sleeve film, run and filmed before shipment. The standard for every HiPaks machine: FAT & quality.
Speed figures are being finalized with the factory as the line launches [TBC]. Tell us your target rate and container; we’ll confirm the achievable speed in the engineering evaluation and prove it on video before any order.
Steam conforms sleeves best on complex geometry (contoured bottles and full-body decoration), and is the default for premium work. Electric infrared handles simpler profiles and sites where steam infrastructure is impractical. Send your container; the shrink test decides, not the brochure.
Yes, a cap-and-neck sleeve is the standard tamper-evident construction: opening the product destroys it. For alcohol and regulated categories, excise zones and compliance text can be integrated into the same printed sleeve.
Supported lay-flat widths and film roll specs are being finalized with the datasheet [TBC]. What matters for the answer is your container’s largest cross-section. Send dimensions and we’ll confirm the fit in the evaluation.
Yes, that is our standard for every machine: send containers and film, we run them, film the shrink conformity and tamper performance, and the video is your acceptance evidence. Start with the spec sheet request and we’ll set up the test.
